Who this notice covers

This notice applies to the 606 Travels website, trip-planning desks, enquiry workspace, secure proposals and The 606 Edit newsletter. 606 Travels is a worldwide travel-planning service currently operating a public enquiry and human-reviewed planning website. Supplier booking and payment are not provided through the public website.

The site operator is 606 Travels. Questions about information handled through the service can be sent to info@606travels.com.

In short: we use the information you provide to understand, plan and follow up on your requested journey. We do not sell it or use it for advertising profiles.

Information we collect

Contact and communication details

A trip brief can include your name, email address, country or region, optional WhatsApp number, preferred contact method and preferred language. Messages you send, proposal responses and requested changes may also be stored with the enquiry.

Travel and planning details

Depending on the desk you use, this may include:

  • origins, destinations, travel dates, route segments and flexibility;
  • adult, child and infant counts, cabin or stay preferences and room requirements;
  • trip style, pace, priorities, experiences, transfers, group arrangements and special requests;
  • budgets, currency and the payment approach you want to discuss; and
  • optional accessibility, mobility, dietary, celebration or coordination notes.

Please share only information that is relevant to the trip. If you plan for other people, make sure you have permission to provide their details.

Entry-guidance details

For an entry-guidance request, we may ask for passport nationality or nationalities, country of residence and the topics you want checked. Do not enter passport numbers, passport scans, login credentials or payment-card details in a 606 Travels form.

Service, consent and security records

We record the source of a request, its time, the consent time and policy version, and the browser user-agent sent with a trip brief. The service also uses a keyed, pseudonymous rate-limit identifier derived from connection information to reduce automated or repeated misuse; the raw connection address is not placed in the trip brief. Hosting providers may process standard request and security logs as part of running the service.

Transactional receipt records can include whether the email provider accepted a receipt and whether its secure enquiry tracker was viewed. If you use that tracker to request a correction, enquiry withdrawal or privacy review, we record the request type, topic, message, acknowledgement, status and any customer-visible response. Secure-proposal records can include when a proposal was issued or viewed, your approval or change request and any message supplied with that response. Customer-update records preserve the update shown in the secure tracker and whether a separate update notice was attempted or accepted by the email provider. Newsletter records include the email address, source and subscription or confirmation status used to manage The 606 Edit.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • save and review your enquiry and contact you through your selected channel;
  • prepare routes, shortlists, prices and human-reviewed proposals;
  • request relevant availability or information from travel suppliers when needed;
  • operate the admin workspace and keep enquiry, follow-up and proposal records together;
  • receive, review and respond to secure correction, withdrawal or privacy requests;
  • send transactional enquiry receipts, customer-update notices, secure tracker or proposal links and operator alerts;
  • send The 606 Edit when you have asked to receive it, and process an unsubscribe;
  • protect the service, prevent repeated misuse and troubleshoot failures; and
  • meet applicable record-keeping, dispute or legal obligations.

The legal reason for a particular use depends on where you are and what you ask us to do. It may include taking steps at your request, performing an agreed service, your consent, reasonable operational or security interests, or a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent for future consent-based use at any time, without changing earlier lawful handling.

Who receives information

Information may be handled by:

  • 606 Travels operators who review enquiries, prepare proposals and provide support;
  • Cloudflare, which provides the website hosting, security and D1 database infrastructure;
  • email-delivery providers, currently Resend when email delivery is configured, to send operator alerts, transactional receipts, customer-update notices, newsletter messages or secure proposal emails;
  • travel suppliers and fulfilment partners, such as airlines, accommodation, transfer or experience providers, when needed to quote or deliver something you requested; and
  • professional advisers, regulators, courts or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

Suppliers have their own terms and privacy practices. 606 Travels does not share enquiry information with advertising networks and does not sell personal information.

Worldwide processing

606 Travels is designed for journeys worldwide. Website infrastructure, email providers, operators and travel suppliers may therefore be in countries different from yours. Privacy protections and government-access rules can vary by country.

We aim to limit information to what is needed for the requested work and use reputable service providers. Where applicable law requires a particular safeguard for an international transfer, the operator will need to put that safeguard in place before making the transfer.

How long we keep it

Enquiries, secure-tracker access records, traveller requests, customer updates, internal follow-up records and proposals are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period afterwards for support, records and disputes. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus the minimum record needed to respect that choice. Security and delivery records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operation and investigation.

Current operating detail: a final written retention schedule has not yet been published and must be completed by the future operator before customer proposal delivery or payment is enabled. You can request review or deletion through a valid secure enquiry tracker or by emailing info@606travels.com; some records may need to remain where law or an active dispute requires it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain handling. You can also ask where information came from or who received it.

If you have a valid secure enquiry-tracker link, you can submit a correction, withdrawal or privacy request from that page. You can also email info@606travels.com and include the enquiry reference. We may need to confirm your identity and the enquiry involved before acting. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in a newsletter or by contacting us. You may also be entitled to complain to the privacy authority in your location.

The enquiry summary remains read-only. Sending a secure request does not automatically edit or erase a record, stop a confirmed supplier service, cancel a booking or decide a legal right. A 606 operator reviews the request and may ask for more information before acting.

Security and children

The service uses access controls, restricted admin, enquiry-tracker and proposal cookies, signed links, transport encryption and rate limiting. No online system is risk-free, so do not place passport numbers, payment-card data or other unnecessary high-risk information in free-text fields.

606 Travels is not designed for children to use independently. An adult organising family or group travel may provide limited child counts or relevant planning needs. Please avoid names, documents or detailed health information unless an operator has explained why it is needed and how to provide it safely.

Updates and contact

We may update this notice as the service, suppliers or legal requirements change. The date and version at the top identify the notice linked to a new consent. Material changes will be presented before they apply to a new request where appropriate.

This version is effective from 24 August 2026. Contact info@606travels.com with the subject "Privacy request" for questions or requests.
